You might already be familiar with some of Paolo’s amazing work. The makeup artist, actor and TV host has 1.3 million followers on Instagram who love seeing him transform into different celebrities and characters. With a bit of makeup and the occasional wig and pair of colored contacts, he’s transformed into everyone from Gigi Hadid to Kim Kardashian. His recent posts have featured some of Westeros’s most popular faces.

Take a look at some of his Game of Thrones transformations:

1. Brienne of Tarth

This is doubly impressive considering Brienne does not wear makeup. Paolo has managed to transform into her without making it look like he’s wearing lots of products on his face.

2. Daenerys Targaryen

Everyone wants to be the Mother of the Dragons, and Paolo looks like the real deal. He doesn’t even need the gown or the three dragons.

3. Arya Stark

If we just focus on the transformation of the eyebrows from character to character, you can still appreciate how impressive these makeovers are. Put Braavos in the background and you could think that this is really Maisie Williams.

If you think that your crisp cat eye is impressive, it has nothing on these transformations. Paolo has each character spot on. Not only is the hair and makeup all on point, so are the facial expressions. That is totally Cersei’s wicked grin and that is Arya’s haunted expression.

There are a lot of characters in Game of Thrones, dead and alive, and we would love to see Paolo transform into them all.
