Ugh, Scarlett Johansson‘s “cheap beauty trick” is the same “cheap beauty trick” employed by absolutely every star in the entire world. I am certain Gwyneth Paltrow uses the same one – and, oh, yes, a brief examination reveals that she uses this all the time.
Apple Cider vinegar.
The 28-year-old slathers the natural product across her face to keep her spots at bay.
While the actress did admit that the product – which is priced at around £1.50 in stores such as Holland & Barrett- can be harsh on skin, it has actually been effective in treating her spots.
Speaking to Contactmusic about her beauty secrets, she revealed: ‘I researched natural skincare and found that apple cider vinegar is really effective.
‘Using it as a toner can be harsh, but if you have breakouts it can be really healing.
‘It’s a little bit stinky but if you’re not sleeping over at your boyfriend’s it’s really effective!,’ she added.
Oh, Christ, apple cider vinegar really doesn’t have a terribly strong smell. Feel free to slather it over your entire body the next time you are sleeping at your boyfriend’s, I bet you a million dollars he will not say anything. Unless your boyfriend is one of those people who make perfume. Those people have excellent, finely tuned noses. “What is this aroma, darling!?” he will say. He has a Romanian accent and many tweed jackets, and a very aristocratic nose. You two are my favorite couple.
The boyfriend I just imagined for you is already more interesting than Scarlett Johansson is being.
Also, I guess we should all go buy gallons of apple cider vinegar, now.
