This is like the surprise party that was almost impossible to keep a secret!!! I'm so excited that I can finally share my collab with Smashbox, available today to VIB Rouge Members online @sephora and @sephoracanada (everyone else tomorrow 11/28!). I had so much fun with my glam squad creating 7 looks with each new #CoverShotPalette . Check them all out on @smashboxcosmetics NOW! Can’t wait to see how you wear the looks (And yes, that is real powder being thrown at me!)+ ????
When it comes to beauty collaborations, we’re stoked if a partnernship produces one lipstick. (Just think about how amazing all of the MAC Viva Glam collabs are.) So, when it was announced that Shay Mitchell and Smashbox collaborated on a range that included seven(!) different eyeshadow palettes, we were very happy. That’s a palette for every day of the week.
Shay and Smashbox’s collab features seven travel-size palettes. Each one has a different theme, whether you’re looking for rainbow brights, matte eyeshadows or some fun metallics. Each set includes two larger eyeshadows and six small ones that are meant to be used as accent colors. In addition to different colors on the inside, each of the palettes has its own unique packaging so you can tell them apart whether you get two (or three, or four) of them.
Take a look at the different palettes:
Looking for some warmer tones? These sun-drenched, desert-inspired shades are where it’s at. Pair them with your regular neutrals for a subtle pop of color.
The Golden palette isn’t strictly gold. It features peach, pink and purple shades. Don’t worry, they’ll still give you a lit-from-within glow thanks to their creamy formulas.
Want something to update your evening look? These metallic shades will do the trick. There’s more to them than your usual gold and silver metallics.
This palette certainly lives up to its name. You have an entire spectrum of look-at-me shades to play around with.
Are you a fan of the Softlights highlighters from Smashbox? This palette is the eyeshadow version of them. They give you a soft, ethereal glow minus the chunky glitter.
This is another palette that is perfect for evening. It features a mix of smokey shades mixed with some unexpected ones with emerald green and a dazzling deep mauve.
There is always room for another matte eyeshadow palette in your collection. This one focuses on velvety pinky nudes and purple hues.
All of the Cover Shot Eyeshadow palettes are available exclusively on Sephora and they all cost $29 each. Don’t debate too long about what ones you want because we all know that beauty collaborations are never available for long until they sell out.
