SkinCeuticals is a ten year old, fast growing company of fabulous skin care products sold exclusively through licensed physicians. The products in the line boast antioxidants, vitamin C, and some great new sun care technologies.

Aah – science meets skin care. It is certainly all the rage. Take a look at their mission statement:

Our mission at SkinCeuticals is to improve skin health. Dedicated to this purpose, we make one simple promise — provide quality products backed by science.

Our dedication to developing advanced skin care backed by science has earned us a strong reputation with the medical community worldwide. SkinCeuticals provides complete skin care solutions through dermatologists, plastic surgeons, medi-spas, and other skin care professionals in the United States and in over 35 countries worldwide. These experts trust SkinCeuticals to promote skin health — not trends.

I have tried four of SkinCeuticals products based on their theory that your skin care needs can be broken down into three elements: prevention, protection, and correction.

In the morning I have been using the Foaming Cleanser, Equalizing Toner, and follow that with AOX+ Serum 15. Serum 15 neutralizes free radicals, defends against environmental damage, and helps prevent premature signs of aging. It is formulated with their AOX+ advanced antioxidant technology, which combines ferulic acid with 15% pure vitamin C to enhance the antioxidant performance.

In the evening, I have been using the Cleanser and Toner again, but follow this with Daily Moisture. Though I think I may need a more rich moisturizer, such as their Renew Overnight Dry Cream.

I have used this system for a few weeks now, and have seen a definite improvement in my skins tone and clarity. And my skin is extremely smooth feeling, especially a little while after using the Serum. I just feel that I need a moisturizer to follow the serum in the day, one with an SPF, of course. And if I changed up the night time moisturizer with the Renew as I think I should, I would continue to use the system, to see more long term benefits.
