We go wild when there’s one new palette drop so get ready to multiply your excitement by seven. Smashbox Cosmetics has expanded its Cover Shot Palette collection to include new ones.
The Smashbox Cover Shot 2018 collection is has the “Golden Barbie” aka Jasmine Sanders as the face. If you’re a fan of the brand, you probably remember that they dropped a series of Cover Shot Palettes in 2016 with Shay Mitchell. And this collection looks just as good.
The new palettes in the collection are: Ablaze ($29), Minimalist ($29), Major Metals ($29), Prism ($29), Matte ($29), Punked ($29), Golden Hour ($29), Petal Metal ($29) and Bold Glitter ($29). All of the palettes come in a handy “purse size” but they still feature eight eyeshadows that pack made pigment.
All of the finishes and colors and even the package designs vary from palette to palette. If you’re after something to increase your unicorn vibes, Prism is your palette thanks to its cool blue and purple tones. FYI: It has been the one Smashbox has been promoting the most of its website. Ablaze is the fiery sister with deep sunset colors. Those wanting a new neutral palette can try Minimalist or Matte. For evening, Major Metals and Bold Glitter are two great options. They both feature a rainbow selection of colors. Punked is a darker palette that’s perfect for creating a smokey eye. Petal Metal is for all rose gold fans and has a similar vibe as the brand’s Petal Metal collection. Finally, Golden Hour is another flattering neutral palette with injections of purple that people will likely think is the most “Golden Barbie” palette of them all.
