You probably have laser-beam focus on the Tarte Shape Tape Foundation launch, but the beauty brand has some other exciting stuff coming out, including the new Maneater Vol. 2 Eyeshadow Palette ($30). If you have the original, you’re going to like this one just as much. Promise.
If you have the OG Maneater Palette (below), you will probably get a sense of deja vu looking at the gold, black and purple leopard packaging. The original featured seven small eyeshadow shades and one larger one. The palette came out at the end of November 2016 and was loved for its warm, easy-to-wear shades.
The ManEater Volume Two palette stays true to the original with the aforementioned speckled packaging and easy-to-wear-neutral eyeshadows. The difference is that this time we’re treated to nine eyeshadows. The colors include: Meow (ivory), Passion (cream), Foxy (rose gold), Purr (soft mauve), Saucy (light brown), Hypnotic (shimmering berry), Midnight (brown), Lace (pearl) and Cat Call (black). The first eight that are listed were in the original version, but the last one is a new shade for the beauty brand.
Tarte explains the shadows are all pigmented and range in finish from mattes to micro-metallic lusters which can be built up. They’re also formulated with Tarte’s hero Amazonian clay.
If you missed out on the Maneater Palette the first time around or your palette is empty, you can shop the Maneater Vol.2 Palette on the Tarte website.
