The world of lipstick isn’t what it used to be. No longer are we confined to solid formulas, bullets, and tubes—now, long wear liquid lipsticks are the name of the game. Too Faced‘s Melted Liquified Long Wear Lipsticks were among the first to make us see the light, and they’ve since expanded the line to include more colors and finishes, including a metallic line and a cocoa powder-infused one. Now, they’re about to tackle yet another popular trend: matte finish lipsticks.

Allure reports that Too Faced will soon be coming out with Melted Matte, a 18-piece collection of matte liquid lipsticks featuring a new formula, new shades, and a new applicator (the sponge tip you’re probably used to by now will come attached to a wand rather than the tube itself, allowing for more precise application). It will, of course, have a new, more saturated matte finish, and it’s reportedly infused with avocado oil, vitamin E, and something called “hyaluronic filling spheres” that offer a smoother texture. Plus, it has the same amazing plumping properties that Buxom‘s Lip Creams have.

The shades, each of which will retail for $21 at Sephora, range from nudes and universally wearable pinks to bold berry, brown, and blue-purple shades. Take a look:

L-R: Miso Pretty, Child Star, Cool Girl, Sell Out, Queen B, and 1998

I think I’m most curious to try Queen B, which looks to be a dusty mauve.

L-R: Feelin’ Myself, Mrs. Roper, Lady Balls, It’s Happening, Bend & Snap, and Marcia, Marcia, Marcia

I think Elle Woods would be proud to see a beautiful dark fuschia such as Bend & Snap named after ~*signature move*~. Also, #LadyBalls4Lyfe.

L-R: Unicorn, Drop Dead Red, On Point, Naughty by Nature, Who’s Zoomin Who, and Evil Twin

I’m pretty sure Who’s Zoomin Who is a navy blue, and I’ve never seen a color like that, so obviously I have to have it.

If you can’t wait until the April 5 launch date, you could always go for Too Faced’s new La Matte Color Drenched Matte Lipstick, which is available for purchase now.

Which shade are you most excited to try? Tell us in the comments!
