Urban Decay has done a very good job so far of making us feel less sad about the original Naked palette being discontinued. The brand recently unveiled a magical Elements Eyeshadow Palette. Then rumors started swirling that the brand was launching a new Naked palette. Urban Decay has confirmed the rumors are true. But, we’re not just getting a new palette, we’re getting a Naked Cherry collection.
Urban Decay confirmed the collection on Instagram by previewing the full range. First up is the Naked Cherry palette. It’s completely different than all of the other sister Naked palettes. As the name implies, the Naked Cherry palette is made up for juicy pinks, reds and burgundies. There are 12 eyeshadows in a range of light to dark shades. From the preview photos, we can see that there are matte, shimmer and metallic finishes. The colors include: Hot Spot, Caution, Bang Bang, Feelz, Juicy, Turn On, Ambitious, Bing, Devilish, Young Love, Drunk Dial And Privacy. The palette also comes with a double-ended brush.
Next up are the lipsticks. Urban Decay shared a closeup photo of three-cherry tinged lipsticks. The brand didn’t reveal what formulation they are, but the odds are they’re Vice Lipsticks. The three bullets are a shimmering neutral copper color, a shimmering cherry red and what appears to be a matte black cherry.
One big surprise from the collection is a Cherry All Nighter Spray. The product is decked out in stunning cherry packaging and is presumably a special scented edition of Urban Decay’s makeup-fixing spray.
Two eyeliners (black and shimmering deep pink) and a blush and highlighter trio with light gold, cherry pink and white shades round out the collection.
If you’re hoping for more, Urban Decay promises that more details about the collection will be revealed soon. In the meantime, the teaser photos should be enough to keep you occupied.
