Earlier today, Daily News reported that Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino of Jersey Shore fame asked for half a million dollars upfront for a potential deal.  When he was told that not even Kim Kardashian makes that much upfront, his manager replied that Sorrentino is “much larger” than Kim Kardashian.

When I first saw this, I thought, “Ok, keep dreaming, Mike.”  A reality star really thinks he can make more than… oh yeah, another reality star?  What exactly is the point here?  That Kim Kardashian is “obviously” bigger than The Situation?  He wasn’t being compared to Johnny Depp.   Sorrentino and Kardashian are both reality stars who are famous for basically no reason. They both get paid to make appearances at clubs, they both have managers as a result of appearing on reality shows, and they are both admired for their respectively hot bodies.  Which led us to wonder: what are the other similarities and differences between The Situation and Kim Kardashian?
