Farrah Abraham hosts Sapphire Pool and Day Club

You kind of have to hand it to Farrah Abraham. Despite everyone and their mom knowing that her “sex tape” with porn star James Deen is, in fact, a pre-meditated piece of pornography filmed for the purpose of selling to horny people and increasing Farrah’s dubious fame, she still goes on insisting that it was just a lil’ tape she made “for herself” with the most famous dick-for-hire in the world. If this is her strategy for getting publicity, it’s totally working, because bloggers love it when celebrities say dumb, crazy things. (Sorry not sorry.)

In a new interview with the magnificent Michael Musto (who writes for Gawker now), Abraham gave this blindingly coherent answer to the question “how did your tape with James Deen come about?”:

“There was no plan. It was just dating and I wanted to make something for myself and I did. I met him through friends and we were casually talking—I was not really dating him. It was something I felt comfortable with at the time. As it turned out, I had to legally separate myself. It was more of a front to take advantage of me. Now I don’t talk to him, nor do I like his personality!”

The questioning continued:

Did you know it was being filmed?
We had sex and yes, I did film it. What don’t you get about this?
Sorry, sex-tape talk makes me blank out. But why were you upset with him if it was your idea?
He was publically talking about it. So I made sure I got paid for being naked rather than being taken advantage of and being put out there for free.

Miss South Carolina was not available to help parse this, but if I’m not mistaken, she was “just dating” Deen, “casually” but “not really.” She wanted to make the tape “for herself” and she did. But then it turned out that all of those producers, makeup artists, and lighting guys standing around, not to mention Deen himself, were not, in fact, working on the film pro bono, as Farrah had previously thought, but as part of a “front to take advantage of her.” Farrah also seems to believe she filmed it herself?

She says she got mad at James Deen for “publically” talking about an adult film he’d been hired to do, which somehow led to the film being released against Farrah’s will. So she made Vivid give her money for it after the fact. (After they had paid for every aspect of the film’s production.) Got it.

If this sounds a little far fetched to you, here is James Deen’s competing account of how this porno sausage got made:

Deen could not be reached for comment on this latest gem because he’s already told his side of the story and could not give less of a shit.
