Just a month ago, Gwen Stefani confirmed her third pregnancy with the best pregnant lady selfie of all time. She’d obviously been pregnant for a while before that happened, and we had really been enjoying all of her epic maternity dressing. Time has been good to Stefani; she just gets cooler and cooler every year. Even when carrying a small child wedged in her abdomen, she has more style than almost any celebrity we can name. But as much as we will miss Gwen Stefani’s unequivocally cool pregnancy style, we are thrilled that she has been safely delivered of another adorable rock star baby.

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, her husband of 11 years, have just announced the birth of a tiny, certainly adorable baby boy. This is their third son. Stefani announced that the baby was a boy at the end of January, Tweeting a picture of herself in a blue shirt and a crown with the caption:

“I was ready to hand over the crown. But I guess I am still queen of the house. #itsaboy #surroundedbyboys.”

Stefani is indeed surrounded by boys, and her boys are all really cute. (Including Rossdale.) Stefani is already the mother of 7-year-old Kingston and 5-year-old Zuma. The new baby’s name will be James. No, just kidding. US Weekly reports that the new baby is named Apollo Bowie Flynn. That’s a good name for a little rock star baby, and Bowie and Flynn are reportedly the maiden names of Rossdale’s and Stefani’s mothers. Given his family, the new little Rossdale boy will probably be blond, cool, and grow up to have an awesome baby mohawk.

According to Refinery29, Stefani had given up on the idea of having a third child after trying for one two years ago.

“I really, really, really wanted one about two years ago. And it didn’t really work out,” she said at the time. “So. . . I feel good with what we’ve got. Everything works out how it should. You can’t plan anything, right? You can try.”

But now everything has worked out as planned, and we’re super happy for her. We can only hope she will start Instagraming adorable baby pictures soon.
