It’s finally happened. Kim Kardashian has given birth to a baby girl. And she beat out Kate Middleton, so I guess she can feel good about that, if we assume that birthing is some sort of bizarre competition.
According to Hollywood Life:
Kim welcomed her baby in the early morning of June 15, about a month earlier than expected, according to TMZ. Sources tell the site that mom and baby are in good health.
Their daughter was born at in Cedars Sinai hospital in Los Angeles, and X17 is reporting that Kim had to go into the hospital for an emergency C-section at around 1:30 in the morning.
I know that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West claim that they’re going to keep their daughter out of reality television, but I’m still giving that a month, maybe, tops. Regardless, we can look forward to some People Magazine spread with this child on the cover. I also imagine we can look forward to some sort of televised wedding event between Kim and Kanye. Maybe? Maybe. Hollywood Life claims that for the time being they’ll be living at Kris Kardashian’s. Apparently:
Even though the proud parents have been together for more than a year, they spent the majority of their pregnancy long-distance. Kanye was in Paris recording his album, while Kim stayed mostly in Los Angeles near her family. But now that the baby has arrived, the couple will be living in Kris Jenner’s house in Los Angeles while they wait for their $9 Bel Air mansion to be completed.
I am fairly certain that there are sitcoms from the 1950’s that operated along those lines, so we can all feel good that American traditions are continuing. And, seriously, congratulations to both Kanye and Kim and Kimye.
