It seems as though some actresses among us, despite their firsthand knowledge about movie magic, still can’t sit through the scary stuff. Marisa Tomei reportedly bolted from a New York theater during a bloody scene in a screening of “Daylight,” a new psychological thriller directed by David Barker about a couple who picks up a kidnapper on their a way to a wedding and…well, horror ensues.
As for me, I have not been able to tolerate horror movies since I watched “Pet Cemetery” at too young an age. (ZELDA!!!) That shit is terrifying, and I don’t find stress and fear to be entertaining feelings. I’d rather sit through a mediocre comedy than a suspenseful horror flick any day.
I never claimed to be highbrow.
Anyway, what about you?
