I’m sure you’re all reeling as much as I am over the news that Tiffany accidentally outed former New Kid on the Block Jon Knight. It’s bringing all my childhood memories back to see their names continually pop up together in blogs and on Twitter.

But what’s even more wonderful than this coming together of two stars of the 80’s together via an accidental public outage is that it appears to have been followed up by joy and roses and unicorns. Tiffany apologized to Jon, and then Jon not only accepted her apology, but tweeted: “Tiff, please don’t lose any sleep over it! I know you weren’t being mean and I found it to be funny!”

This whole thing just reinforces what we already know: the 80’s were a magical time in which everyone was happy, little fights between friends ended with love and forgiveness, summer camp was the best time of your life, the nerdy girl got the popular guy at the end of every movie (and in real life) and the worst thing that could happen to you was being discovered for going undercover as a boy in order to get your dream newspaper internship, only to then have the dude you fell in love while undercover briefly hate you, then fall madly back in love with you.
