A recent study by the University of Washington  discovered that college students are more likely to drink when they’re abroad.  Researchers found that drinking increased most dramatically in Europe, Australia and New Zealand. They couldn’t discover why. In response I’m going to point out that in America, binge drinking is defined as having 4 or more cocktails (women) or 5 or more (men.) In certain parts of Europe it is defined as “drinking continuously for more than 24 hours.” I think this may be why. – Science Daily
