Last night saw the Fashion Group International’s annual Night of Stars Gala–drawing out some of the industry’s best and brightest (and tallest). Check out what a host of designers and supermodels wore, featuring Kate Upton, Doutzen Kroes, Alexa Chung, Karlie Kloss, Joan Smalls and, yes, Miley Cyrus.
Harper’s Bazaar editor-in-chief Glenda Bailey wore this feathery thing and we’re into it because we like feathery things.
Alexa Chung looked fantastic in a suit–though, we want to remove those non sequitur brooch embellishments.
Speaking of menswear, Carine Roitfeld wore an exceptionally Carine Roitfeld-y outfit.
Always a delight to see Iris Apfel.
Joan Smalls tempted fate in a slinky white look.
Karlie Kloss kept it surprisingly simple with an embellished skirt and black collared shirt.
Kate Upton slicked back her hair and wore a form-fitting dress.
Designer Kelly Wearstler went very sheer. We’re into the shoes.
Jewelry designer Pamela Love went flapper.
Designer Rebecca Minkoff wore an LBD and some unusual suede shoes.
Sofia Coppola looked prim and pretty–though we will always resist the nylons with open-toed shoes move.
Julie Macklowe wore one of the most Tom Ford dresses of recent memory.
Zoe Kravitz wore a crocodile bandeau top because of trends, we guess.
As we mentioned, Miley Cyrus decided to dress things up a bit and leave her piles of gold accessories at home.
And, in our unexpected pick for Best Dressed: we really like model Sara Blomqvist‘s acid-trip floral and the beautiful sheer neckline.
