SAG Awards 2015 Worst DressedFor every best dressed celebrity, there is always one who came so close to looking amazing, but the look never fully delivered. Then there are always those moments on a red carpet where someone steps out a limo and you say, “WTF were they thinking?” The 2015 Screen Actors Guild Awards had lots of breath-taking looks (how flawless was Emma Stone in that Dior outfit?) but there were some definite misses as well.

Sorry ladies, these were the worst dressed celebs the 2015 SAG Awards:

1. Sarah Hylandattends the 21st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards at The Shrine Auditorium on January 25, 2015 in Los Angeles, California.

Sarah Hyland was so close to getting it right in this custom Vera Wang gown. The embellished bodice was gorgeous, but there’s just something strange about the sheer skirt and nude-but-not-quite-nude lining. It distracts you from the top, which should be the focus.

2. Amanda Peetattends the 21st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards at The Shrine Auditorium on January 25, 2015 in Los Angeles, California.Poor Amanda Peet ended up looking like she was attending prom in this pastel purple dress. The contrasting black fabric feels a little awkward, and what is up with that diamond in the middle? It looks like an oversized bellybutton.

3.  Mayim Bialikattends the 21st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards at The Shrine Auditorium on January 25, 2015 in Los Angeles, California.

Mayim Bialik‘s green earrings were fab, but the same can’t be said for the rest of her dress. It was a bit too severe, and mature for her. We don’t expect her to always wear Blossom happy prints and colors, but she should wear something that has a touch of fun, and touch less full.

4. Sophie Turnerattends the 21st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards at The Shrine Auditorium on January 25, 2015 in Los Angeles, California.

I don’t want to put Sophie Turner on the list, but I feel I have to. Her dress fits well and it’s flattering, but it’s great for semi-formal dance, but the SAGs? Not so much. It’s just not special enough, Sophie deserves better. On the positive side, the shoes are very cute.

5. Vicky Jeudyattends the 21st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards at The Shrine Auditorium on January 25, 2015 in Los Angeles, California.

Vicky Jeudy is working her dress, but the dress isn’t really working for her. The illusion neckline looks like she has vines growing on her chest into her boobs and up her face. Those shoes aren’t helping matters either.

6. Rosamund Pikeattends the 21st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards at The Shrine Auditorium on January 25, 2015 in Los Angeles, California.

Oh, Rosamund Pike, I want to stop putting you on these lists. It really hurts me. I can see where she was going with this dress, but it just didn’t get there. Please, please come back with something to blow our socks off at the Oscars.

7. Maggie Gyllenhaalattends the 21st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards at The Shrine Auditorium on January 25, 2015 in Los Angeles, California.

I’m not entirely sure what Maggie Gyllenhaal is wearing, but it looks a bit too similar to what someone would wear to perform a figure skating routine. All that’s missing is a handful of rhinestones.

8. Dascha Polancoattends the 21st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards at The Shrine Auditorium on January 25, 2015 in Los Angeles, California.

The Orange Is The New Black ladies on the list need to look at Uzo Aduba to see how to make a statement on the red carpet the right way. Dascha Polanco‘s dress looked like the white version of Kim Kardashian’s WTF Met Gala dress from 2013, and that probably isn’t a look you want to copy.
