Forget about mules, furry flip flops and “ugly” shoes, the adidas Stan Smith sneakers are one of the hottest shoe trends around. They’ve made everyone obsessed with white sneakers, and now they’re going to make everyone fall in love with printed shoes thanks to a collaboration with Kvadrat.

Adidas has teamed up with the European textile company to create three different sneakers. The sneaker capsule collection draws inspiration from Japanese aesthetic and modernist values and the utilitarian design of Copenhagen. The result is unique but very wearable shoes. The collection is particularly significant because it marks the first time that Stan Smiths have had patterns added to them.

Each of the designs features ditzy Kvadrat prints with a different pattern on the toes and back of each shoe. There is a light blue, navy and golden yellow combination; a blue, navy, turquoise and red design; and a burgundy, pink, green and burnt orange one.

The good news is that the shoes will be available worldwide from July 6 so all adidas Stan Smith fans can get their hands on them.
