Out of all the H&M collaborations, the Balmain x H&M collection has definitely been the one to tease us the most with sneak peeks. It seems like we have been seeing pieces from the collection for months. See: Kendall Jenner wearing the pearl jacket way back in May at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards. They have been teasing us more than when Jared Leto was trolling us with his Joker look. With just over two weeks until the collection finally hits stores on November 5th, they had the collection launch party, complete with a fashion show and performances to make us more excited than we already are.
We have seen the full Balmain x H&M lookbook, but it is a different experience seeing the clothes on the runway–especially if you were one of the lucky guests that attended the event. Even if you didn’t snag an invite, the photos will still get you excited. All of Olivier Rounsteing‘s #HMBalmaination girls walked the runway including Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss, Bella Hadid and Jourdan Dunn. Check out some of the looks from the show:
Kendall Jenner’s cutout top is actually very similar to one that Kim Kardashian wore from the regular Balmain line. Now, you can get your hands on one that will probably cost a tenth of the price.
This is the fashion girl’s version of the iconic Beetlejuice suit. Those shoes are fantastic and you can never go wrong with a structured vest.
It wouldn’t be a proper Balmain collection without a lot of embellishment and some color-blocking. These embellished tops and the black blazers with gold buttons are probably going to be the pieces that will sell out the fastest.
If you want something slightly more subdued, Gigi Hadid’s black textured maxi dress is a great option. You can wear it by itself, or you can dress it up in the proper Balmain way with lots of gold accessories, as seen here on the runway.

Have you started making your shopping list yet? The clothes are enough reason to get excited but that wasn’t the only great thing about the event. The Backstreet Boys performed making every ’90s girl’s dreams come true. Forget chocolate and hazelnuts, Balmain plus a BSB concert, is pretty much the best combination ever. The Backstreet Boys were naturally all decked out in Balmain and posed with Olivier Rousteing at the event:
You may not have been able to see the concert but if you are willing to fight the crowds of fashion lovers, you can probably score a few clothes and accessories from the Balmain x H&M collection. However, if the rumors about the Backstreet Boys and Spice Girl concert are real, then you will already have your outfit sorted for the gig thanks to H&M and Balmain.
The Balmain x H&M collection will be available at select H&M stores and online on November 5th.
