The fashion isn’t just on the runway at Fashion Month. It is everywhere. It’s backstage, it’s on the streets and it is definitely in the front row. It’s almost as interesting to see what the celebrities and stylish editors are going to be wearing in the front row as the collections on the runway. The front row is like an awards season red carpet, but with a bit less sparkle and more fashion sneakers. At the Fall 2016 shows, the looks in the front row were worth paying attention to at all four fashion capitals. If you’re looking for some new style inspiration, look no further than what’s going on in the FROW.
Here are the best front row looks from Fashion Month:
Remember when Taraji P. Henson wore the black dress with the chain straps to the 2015 Emmy Awards? This grommet dress is the more casual version of that. Taraji proved that LBDs don’t have to be boring at the Alexander Wang show.
Immy and Suki Waterhouse are two very stylish sisters. At the Topshop Unique show, Immy went for a tomboyish look while Suki went for a girly one. They are different looks, but they are both effortless.
Solange Knowles can do no wrong in the fashion department. At the Baja East show, she went with a more minimalist look. However, she kept it interesting with the mix of colors and fabrics.
Ciara and Russel Wilson might just win the award for Fashion Month’s cutest couple. At the Lanvin show, they sported coordinating all-white looks. Ciara always looks amazing and this time was no exception. Take a look at those boots.
Do yourself a favor and buy a cape and bootcut jeans now because everyone is going to be wearing them come the fall. Alexa Chung wore both pieces to the Christopher Kane show at London Fashion Week, and if she’s doing something, you should be too.

Emmy Rossum’s look at the Lanvin show wouldn’t have looked out of place on the red carpet. Her asymmetrical red dress with gold sandals was stunning. The coordinating red lip and shiny waves were also flawless.
Can Olivia Palermo please share all her layering secrets with us? There was lots of amazing stuff at the H&M show and that included Olivia’s outfit. She layered this textured jacket over a long sweater and midi skirt.
Here’s your new work outfit inspiration. Jessica Alba attended the Dior show in an ensemble that was one part retro, two parts classic and three parts chic. This look may not have any crazy details, but it still was eye-catching.
Naomi Campbell doesn’t need to walk the runway to slay it. At the Burberry show she sat front row in this blue suede coat with red trim and stole the attention. You are going to be searching for a less expensive lookalike of this coat.
Kylie Jenner normally sticks with the Kardashian dress code of tight, sparkly and over-the-top. However, she kept things simple at the Boss show at NYFW. Pairing the striped coat with the coordinating flipped print on the bag was clever, and the sneakers made the outfit fun and youthful.
Three supermodels would make any outfits look great, however it is hard to deide whose look you want to copy here first. Lara Stone, Karlie Kloss and Jourdan Dunn sat front row at the Topshop Unique in enviable outfits.
Rooney Mara stuck with her all-black dress code at the Boss show and we aren’t mad about it. She looks like a gothic Audrey Hepburn in this black midi dress with crisscross shoes.
The Gucci show was one of the most highly anticipated shows at Milan Fashion Week. Elizabeth Olsen gave us a few more reasons to love the brand thanks to her sky-high red platforms and white coat.
White leather jackets are normally something we cringe at. They’re best left in ’70s rock videos. However, Zosia Mamet showed how they can look very cool at the Marc Jacobs show. She wore her jacket with a ribbon bow blouse and wide-leg jeans.
