Some seriously bright shades are in the works for Spring & Summer 2010!
It seems that designers at New York Fashion Week have stepped up the intensity of their colorful accessories from “candy colored” to “bold” with some “neon” thrown in for good measure on the final day of runway shows.
Models toted candy-apple red handbags at the 3.1 Philip Lim show
To go along with their candy-apple red jackets and booties, of course!
Proenza Schouler went straight to neon for her handbags, accented with colored chain and mountain climbing rope handles:
Yes, I realize the body of the bag is actually a soft caramel colored suede, but those bright accents do their job and sure attract the eye…
Anna Sui paired some interesting footless knee-highs with kelly green sandals:
While I think I might leave the stirrup knee highs on the runway, those sandals are definitely cute. It’s always nice to have a flat option for those of us who prefer to not rock the sky-high heels as well.
