Is there anyone on Earth who doesn’t love Drew Barrymore? There’s just so much to like about her. She’s a talented actress whose career has spanned over 35 years, and she’s had starring roles in iconic movies like E.T.Ever After, Never Been Kissed, and my personal favorite, Riding in Cars With Boys. She’s an author, having published a memoir called Little Girl Lost about her battle with drug and alcohol addiction. Drew is also a producer, a director, a philanthropist… And a newly minted 41 year old, because today is her birthday!

To celebrate the occasion, we’re going to take a look back at nine of Drew’s best ’90s style moments. Prepare yourself to take in some incredible fashion inspo, because this woman personified the ’90s It Girl look:

Talk about an iconic ’90s moment: this is a picture of Drew and her then-boyfriend, Hole guitarist Eric Erlandson, walking the red carpet at the 1995 premiere of Batman Forever. I love Drew’s white dress and the daisy in her hair. Oh, and her platform sandals? I bought a pair just like them two weeks ago.

Drew wore this pretty sheer top and floral skirt ensemble to a 1996 charity event for the fight against pediatric AIDS.

In 1999, Drew attended the 71st annual Academy Awards with Edward Norton on her arm. She wore head to toe burgundy velvet and carried a silky gold shawl that 11-year-old me would have died to own.

This picture, taken in 1992, is one of my all-time favorites of Drew. Someone should probably pass this photo along to Kylie Jenner, because I have a feeling she’d be really inspired by Drew’s lipstick here.

Drew wore this gorgeous chevron dress to the 1997 London premiere of her movie Scream. I’m going to go out on a limb here and guess that the dress was a piece by Missoni, but I can’t confirm that. I can, however, confirm that Drew would go on to become the face of the Italian fashion house’s 2006 spring-summer campaign. (Click here if you want to see those pictures.)

I don’t know if I’ve ever seen anyone look more comfortable in a button-up shirt and jeans, so kudos for that, Drew! I should also mention that those slider sandals are killing me. This picture of Drew was taken at a 1997 Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation benefit in Los Angeles.

Who knew that Drew and David Arquette were an item long before they starred together in Never Been Kissed and Scream? This picture of the former couple was taken at the 1991 Los Angeles premiere of the movie Bugsy. Love that Drew kept it super casual in a sheer sweater even though her man busted out a three-piece suit.

How stunning does Drew look in this picture? I love the color of her hair, her big smile, that insanely beautiful dress, and her handsome date (hi, Luke Wilson!). Oh, and check out those platform sandals! This picture was taken in 1997 at the premiere of Drew’s movie, Everyone Says I Love You.
