As we’ve noted many, many times before, we–like the rest of the internet–think Jennifer Lawrence is great. Really, really great!

But today, on the occasion of Paris Couture Week’s kick off, we do not like her stylist.

Rather, we do not like the part of her Dior sponsorship deal that requires her to wear Dior, even when it doesn’t really suit her:

That would be Lawrence at today’s Christian Dior couture show, on day one of Paris Couture Week. She sat front row, as campaign faces are wont, and she wore the label, as campaign faces are pretty much required to do.

While we quite like the sleek blonde hair and the fuck-off famous person sunglasses, we don’t understand the acid colored guipure top and matching(ish) wool trousers, featuring one full pleated leg and one tapered leg. We hate them. Perhaps because we do not understand them; perhaps because they are simply ugly.

Lawrence’s stylist wisely pulled back with simple black almond toe pumps, but they did nothing to scale back the ridiculousness of those pants.
