Pride Month is fast approaching. The month is normally a time when fashion and beauty brands launch special pride collections in support of equality and the LGBTQ community. For Pride 2018, H&M is getting into the game by launching its first-ever pride collection, Pride Out Loud.
It’s considered the brand’s first-ever pride collection as it’s the first time they’ve done something “cohesive” for the event. For Pride Out Loud, H&M has teamed up with Out magazine. Black or white clothing with rainbow accents feature prominently in the collection, but there are also some pale pink, peach and ivory pieces. There’s also a pair of sequined black shorts. The collection is huge with trousers, T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies, socks, shorts, tank tops, shorts, hats and even fanny packs.
The Pride Out Loud campaign features model Shaun Ross, Olympic freestyle skier Gus Kenworthy, model and activist Gabrielle Richardson, rapper and drag entertainer Aja and pop musician Kim Petras.
The H&M Pride Out Loud collection will launch on May 31 online and in select H&M stores so we get it just before Pride Month kicks off in June. It’ll be available in 148 stores so double check it’s at your local H&M or shop online.
