My first glimpse of Manhattan’s members-only Soho House was in an episode of “Sex and the City,” where Carrie and the girls lounged by the private, rooftop pool. Although Soho House is still exclusive, Hot Mama Daily readers are invited to spend some pamper time at the property’s third-floor Cowshed Spa (open to the public by appointment).

Cowshed Spa's tranquil waiting area.

One of Cowshed Spa's luxe treatment rooms.

Before Fashion Week, I visited the chandelier-accented urban sanctuary and was treated to a transformative Deep Cleansing Facial (75 minutes, $170).  My meticulous aesthetician steamed, extracted, massaged, and scrubbed my skin to perfection with anti-aging and acne-fighting products by Skinceuticals.

She also informed me I need to exfoliate more often. Instead of microdermabrasion — which I still love even if most skin care professionals denounce its benefits — the Cowshed specialist told me a Clarisonic machine will do the trick.

To book an appointment, call (646) 253 – 6111 or email  But even if you can’t make it to NYC, you can purchase the spa’s therapeutic, plant-based products online.

So your honey doesn’t feel left out, surprise him with the Pocket of Cow Bullocks sampler from Cowshed’s Bullocks line for men.  The travel-size kit contains tubes of hemp seed-oil-infused Bullocks Bracing Body Wash, Bullocks Refining Facial Scrub, Bullocks Smooth Shaving Cream, and Bullocks Soothing Moisturizer.
