Archaeologists in Israel recently unearthed this 3,000 year old Bronze Era bracelet. The bracelet, which is made of (surprise!) bronze, is engraved and has decorations that look like horns. The chief archaeologist of the group that found the bracelet reports that “At that time, horns were the symbol of the storm-god and they represented power, fertility and law. The person who could afford such a bracelet was apparently very well off financially, and it probably belonged to the village ruler.” Wait, so was the bracelet worn by a dude? It’s a shame that his metrosexual fashion statement didn’t continue into this century.
