It seems like forever ago when Target announced that they were partnering with Joseph Altuzarra for their latest designer collaboration. (It was actually May, but the wait has been killing me.) If you are one of those people who freaks out about the Target collaborations this looks like it is a good one. (Having supermodel Eva Herzigova in the campaign images helps). The collection look book is now posted on the Target website, so you can start writing your shopping lists.
The collection features clothing, shoes and accessories and has prices that range between $18 to $90. It has the perfect pieces to transition your wardrobe into fall. The colors are predictably dark, with lots of green, burgundy and black, of course. And the range is sexy, very, very sexy–which is one of Altuzarra’s signatures. There are lots of deep V-necklines, slim suits, pencil skirts with slits and a pair of over-the-knee boots for $79.99. Some looks are even styled with a lacy 50 Shades Of Grey-style eye mask, which comes as part of a satin cami set for $34.99. As for patterns, snakeskin is the dominant one, with tops, jackets and skirts made out of the ssssexy print. Throw in some faux fur, evening dresses, and velvet, and you have yourself a complete collection.

Double snakeskin might be a bit OTT for you, but either of these pieces would look great paired with your plain wardrobe basics. P.S. That green top is actually a sweatshirt, so just imagine how comfy it will be.
This crane embroidery shows up on a few pieces including this dress and a sweatshirt. In case you were too distracted by the sparkly gold birds, may I draw your attention to the skirt’s slit.
You probably noticed the eye mask styled with the fur jacket in the top image. This is the set you can buy if you want to dress up like a sexy version of Tuxedo Mask.
The Joseph Altuzarra for Target collection will be available to buy on September 14 in Target stores and online, and on Net-A-Porter.
