There are so, so many things to love about Julia Louis-Dreyfus. If you’re a traditionalist, you’ll always love (and find yourself incessantly quoting) Elaine from Seinfeld. If you’re ~*hip and with it*~, you praise her for her role as Selina Meyer in the critically-acclaimed show Veep. And, if you’ve just got a love for humor in general, you think about this hilarious Emmys moment at least once a day. If you’re me, you just know that Julia Louis-Dreyfus is one of the truly incomparable gems of the entertainment industry, and that she deserves praise at all times.
One thing is for sure: Julia Louis-Dreyfus, winner of one Golden Globe, seven Emmys, six Screen Actor’s Guild Awards, five American Comedy Awards, and two Critics’ Choice Television Awards, is one goddamn successful grown-ass woman, and her chic sophisticated style proves that point time and time again. Here are some of her best looks:
67th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, 2015
You always have to love JLD in her natural habit (looking absolutely stunning with an award in each hand).
Critics’ Choice Television Awards, 2015
This is the best way to wear black and gold sans any accessories.
72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards, 2015
Proof that an all-white ensemble works, even in the middle of January.
66th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, 2014
This is actually my favorite of JLD’s most recent awards show looks. I love when people wear red on red carpets, despite the fact that there are those that complain about the dress clashing with the color of the carpet itself (a #FamousPersonProblem, to be sure).

Vanity Fair and Maybelline Party for Veep, 2014
The best way to style a bold, bright color like this is to keep everything else simple, and Julia nailed it.
Fed Up Los Angeles Premiere, 2014
Glasses can be a fashion statement, too.
25th Annual Producers Guild Awards, 2014
Bold earrings aren’t my personal favorite, but they work here. Everything else is so understated that the jewelry pulls the look together.
2013 White House Correspondent’s Dinner
I mean, come on now.
Veep Season 2 Premiere, 2013
Selina Meyer would approve.
Entertainment Weekly Pre-Emmy Party, 2012
Aaand we’re done here.
