While Kim Kardashian runs around in fur sleeves and crocodile at every opportunity, her younger sister Khloe Kardashian used to model in those skeevy “I’d rather go naked than wear fur” campaigns for PETA.

While Khloe has not worked with that animal-rights organization for a long time, she apparently still feels motivated by the anti-fur cause, which she promoted yesterday in a surprising way. Khloe showed up to film an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians in a floor-length fur coat whose stunning ugliness is the most effective argument against fur we have ever seen. The coat’s anti-fur message becomes even clearer when she turns around. The Daily Mail spotted her from behind, and her coat actually says “Fxck Yo Fur” in giant red spray paint letters across the entire back of the coat.

She did seem to run into trouble when she tweeted images of the coat yesterday, as apparently some of her followers did not understand what she meant by “faux” fur and thought she was wearing the real stuff.

The younger Kardashian broke up with PETA when one of their other members attacked Kim Kardashian with a flour bomb at an event in 2012. When she tweeted pictures of her coat last night, she was clear to distance herself from the organization.

The coat is actually a faux fur coat by designer JoyceXBSable, and it’s doing an impressive job of promoting its anti-fur agenda through the power of sheer ridiculousness. Khloe’s coat is fake fur, but it’s a pretty realistic looking fake that is doing a good job of convincing us not to wear fur, because fur is ugly. The fur trim on Kourtney Kardashian‘s coat even looks ridiculous and unnecessary next to Khloe’s giant monstrosity. The coat is not exactly aesthetically appealing in any way, but good fashion should make a statement, and this does. At least Khloe has something she wants to say.
