Today’s the day that Kylie Jenner‘s Puma collaboration drops (and no, that’s not an April Fools’ Day joke, promise). Kylie has been teasing us on social media about the collab since her partnership with Puma was first revealed—just yesterday, in fact, she released another photo from the shoot. Despite the teasers, many things about her collaboration were a mystery. We did not know the price of her Puma Fierce sneakers nor were we 100 percent sure of know how many colors they were going to go in the line. Well, the wait is over and there is no need for speculating now.
Kylie had previously described her Fierce sneakers as “a lightweight trainer with zero excuses” in one of her Instagram teasers. According to the description on the Puma website, the sneakers are inspired by dance movements but designed for rigorous training. We won’t hold it against you if you just want to wear them as part of your athleisure look, though. They have a slip-on bootie construction (read: no laces) with mesh and caging overlays for support and stability. Other features include a rubber outsole for grip and pull tabs on the tongue to make getting them on and off easier.
The Fierce trainers are available in four colorways: black, white and black, red, and a futuristic silver with metallic touches. They come in sizes 5.5 to 10. As for the price, they are significantly cheaper than Kanye West‘s eye-wateringly expensive Yeezy Boosts.
Take a look at the collection:
These all-black shoes are the ones we first saw Kylie wearing. They may be one color, but they aren’t boring thanks to all of the details.
We saw these white and black sneakers in the preview image Kylie posted yesterday of her collab. They are just as versatile as the all-black training shoes. Plus, they are in keeping with fashion’s obsession with white sneakers.
If you’re looking to add a pop of color into your wardrobe, then you should go for these cheery red sneakers.
If Back to the Future didn’t come up with the self-lacing shoes, you could almost have seen Marty McFly sporting a pair of Fierce training shoes in this colorway.
At the time of this posting, the Puma Fierce sneakers are still available. However, that doesn’t mean you have time to wait around and debate about what color you want. If you do that, there may not be any options left to choose from, so you’d best get your shop on now.
Kylie Jenner’s Puma Fierce collaboration is available on the Puma website and in select Puma stores worldwide!
