We might as well officially dub 2016 the Year of Gaga, because Lady Gaga is on one seriously unprecedented roll. Just over one month in, Lady Gaga served as the guest editor and curator for Magazine, won a Golden Globe for her portrayal of The Countess in American Horror Story: Hotel (which led to the single greatest GIF on the Internet so far), and announced that, at long last, this would be the year during which she would finally release new music. Because all of that isn’t enough, Lady Gaga is one the stars of Barneys New York‘s spring 2016 campaign. You know, as one does when living one’s best life.

Entitled “Our Town” and shot by the legendary Bruce Weber (a.k.a. the man who shot the boundary-breaking Louis Vuitton campaign starring Jaden Smith), the campaign stars a whole slew of famous New Yorkers, all sporting some minimalist chic looks. Lady Gaga’s virtually makeup-free, shaggy-haired style is a major departure from what we’re used to, but it’s just beautiful:

Fashionista reports that the campaign also features New Yorkers-turned-stars Cyndi LauperHelmut Lang, Yoko OnoPatti Smith, and Bobby Cannavale, all in what seems to be an ode to old New York City. Weber said in a press release,

“As I now took photographs and films of my beloved city, I could still feel its embrace and a tear ran down my cheek for a love once lost and again found.”

The nostalgia is appropriate: the campaign coincides with the upcoming opening of Barneys New York’s flagship store in Chelsea, on the same block where the store first opened back in 1923.

The rest of the campaign takes its audience and its muses on something of a walking tour through Manhattan, stopping to shoot at such famous places as Central Park and Katz’s Delicatessen. Weber also shot some local NYC icons, including everyone from nightclub icon Ladyfag to members of the New York City Fire Department and the NYPD. In short, this campaign is something all native New Yorkers will love and everyone else will be able to easily identify with. After all, who doesn’t want to look back on and remember the good old days?
