You guys, I don’t even have time to come up with some kind of witty introduction because Lauren Conrad‘s Minnie Mouse collection for Kohl‘s is finally here and I’m so excited that I can hardly contain myself! Look, I’m so excited that I’m actually using exclamation points unironically! This is BIG, people.
A little background on my love for Lauren: I think she’s the greatest. Her wedding was everything I want mine to be, and ever since she announced this new collection on Instagram a couple of weeks back, I’ve been on the edge of my seat (not literally of course, because, believe it or not, sometimes I’m not sitting down). I’ve been a fan of her collections since her first LC Lauren Conrad collection hit stores, and I’ve got tons of her tops and blazers—they’re SUPER comfy, btw. She launched a Cinderella collection not too long ago, and now that the Minnie Mouse one is here, all of my (and your) summer wardrobe woes have been cured! Seriously, this collection is simultaneously sweet and professional, so you’ll be able to wear it all throughout the warmer months with no issue. Oh, and did I mention that it’s super wallet-friendly? Because it is. And you know what they say: If it’s free—or at the very least, reasonably-priced—it’s for me!
Here are some of my favorite pieces from the collection:
This might just be the perfect summer dress. The length seems to be reasonable enough to wear to work (maybe just for more casual work environments, admittedly), the straps are thick and sturdy enough for women of all bust sizes, and the print and color are spot-on awesome. If red’s not your color, the dress also comes in white. And, in the endless hilarity that is my life, they have every size except for mine. This is why we can’t have nice things.
I actually may need someone to hold my wallet for me so I don’t blow all of my money on the entire collection. This is my dream top, and I’ve always been a sucker for a good statement Peter Pan collar. The top comes in red and white, too, proving that this collection is patriotism at its finest.
YES. DONE. Linen and printed shorts are my go-to for summer since I don’t always love wearing dresses, and I think they’re the best way to dress up my standard neutral T-shirts. I absolutely adore the subtle bow detail in the front. These shorts come in navy as well, so you have one pair for each day of the weekend.
So I may or may not own at least seven different shirts with this exact cut, but that doesn’t mean I won’t be adding this to my collection.
I haven’t been a graphic t-shirt girl since high school, but this one could turn me. I’m not so sure about the material of that bow, but I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t absolutely adorable.
If you need me, I’ll be crying tears of joy all over my keyboard while outfit-planning for the next month.
