NYFW still has some time left but it’s safe to say that one of the week’s most beloved shows belonged to Rodarte: though it touched on a few of the major trends for Spring 2012–peplums, cutouts–the collection was startlingly unique in a season of bold primary colors and clean monochrome. The Mulleavy sisters were inspired by the masterpieces of Vincent van Gogh and sent hatchmarks, sunflowers and swirling sky prints down the runway. Here’s one great snap from Getty.
