Does anyone know where I can put in a request for a new fairy godmother? The one I have isn’t working out for me, and I’d like to switch with Cinderella star Lily James, because apparently the godmother watching over her has Elie Saab on speed dial.

Last night, the 25-year-old actress showed up to the premiere of new her film, the live-action remake of Cinderella, decked out in astoundingly beautiful Elie Saab couture. The gown was part of the Lebanese designer’s fall 2014 couture collection, and on Lily, it was pure Disney magic. I mean, the woman actually became Cinderella on the red carpet, guys. Prepare your eyes for this feast of pale blue splendor:

Stunning, isn’t it? I feel like I could stare at this dress all day long and never get bored–there’s just so much to take in. I love the incredible detail along the bottom of the skirt and the dotted bodice and sleeves. Also, the pockets! This dress has pockets, and they’re sheer. The perfection is just too much for me! I’m overwhelmed!

While I take a moment to collect myself, you should check out Lily’s Cinderella-themed shoes and clutch:

To quote another one of our favorite Disney princesses, Amelia Mignonette Grimaldi Thermopolis Renaldo of Genovia: Shut. Up. Shut up shut up shut up shut up!

Lily’s shoes are by Christian Louboutin (but of course!) and they’re basically the real-life version of glass slippers, and her Charlotte Olympia clutch is a clock that’s about to strike midnight. Once again, I’m completely and utterly overwhelmed by what’s happening right now.

In my defense, when I was three years old I sobbed hysterically because I wanted to go to Cinderella’s ball (true story) and I named six different goldfish “Cinderella” (another true story), so I think I’m allowed to indulge myself in a bit of a freak out over this gown, OK?

While I gather myself for the second time, here’s a close-up photo of the top of Lily’s dress and her beauty look:

Kudos to Lily’s makeup artist, because that pink lip and those pink cheeks are perfection. I also really love her sparkly earrings, so now I think I need to spend the rest of my day trolling BaubleBar’s website for a similar (and much more budget-friendly) pair.

But before I do that, I have one final question: how many mice and birds do you think I’ll need to recruit to make this dress for me? Because I’ve got one mouse in my kitchen (also a true story, unfortunately) and I’m not sure he’s up to the task. I’d better start leaving cheese and breadcrumbs all over my apartment, because I think it’ll take a small army of woodland creatures to sew this gown. Wish me luck!
