Lucy Hale is collaborating on a clothing line with Hollister. This is great news if you love Lucy’s style but don’t know how to do a country look without wearing cowboy boots, or if you find that the outfits from Pretty Little Liars are too ridiculous for a group of teenage assassins with deep dark secrets, never mind regular non-murdering people. Lucy’s new clothing line will have clothes that you can–and will actually want–to wear.
According to WWD, Lucy is the first celebrity to collaborate with the SoCal brand–and she’s designing two collections! The clothing line is described as “very limited edition” and features around 30 pieces that range in price from $19.95 to $44.95. It includes mix-and-match items including leggings and dresses which are inspired by Lucy’s relaxed style and the beachy California vibe Hollister is known for.
Lucy told WWD, that the partnership was a perfect match because she has a very similar aesthetic to the brand:
“I definitely lean more towards a laid-back look, which makes my style a great match for Hollister. I wanted to create carefree outfits that effortlessly transition from a coffee run to going out.”
The first Lucy-Hollister collab collection will be in stores on August 8. (Make a note of that in your diaries now, PLL fans.) The second range will be released on August 29, so plan your back-to-school shopping accordingly. And if you aren’t quick enough to snag something from the clothing line, be prepared to see the $20 tank top on eBay for $200 in a month from now.
