Ah, the humble midi dress. Often seen as an awkward length and hard to pull off, it’s easily passed up for the midi skirt.
But my friends, I am here to tell you that the midi dress should no longer play second fiddle to the flowy maxi dresses and pencil skirts of yesteryear. Update your wardrobe with this not-quite-long hem and you will have so much fun with your outfits. And being a shorter girl, I was always told to stay away from this length, but I embrace it. I’m even wearing one today because hell, it’s 65 degrees in NYC and I deserve to wear a dress, dammit.
Here are 10 midi dresses to help you embrace the coming of warmer weather.

If you don’t think an open back midi dress is sexy, get out of my face.

As you already know, stripes are my weakness and this number is kind of perfect.
C/Meo On Point Dress (Revolve, $200)
A riskier silhouette, but one that pays off. Trench doesn’t exclusively mean go with coat anymore, and this dress proves it.

Like I said, off-the-shoulder is big. Mint green is a great way to welcome the warmer weather.
