There are a few things we’re obsessed with. Matte lipstick and sheet masks definitely make it onto the list, but street style might just be at the top. Sure, we love runways looks, but there is something about seeing fabulous clothes on the streets that we just cannot get enough of. Of course the looks at the New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2017 shows were on point. No one appeared to be confused about how to dress for tricky September weather, and everyone knew how to mix-and-match like a pro.

When you pair unexpected pieces, the results can sometimes be pure magic. They are in this case. Eva Chen teamed her fringed skirt with a basic white tee and sneakers and created one of the coolest daywear looks.

Remember this look for Casual Fridays at the office. Actually, remember it for pretty much any occasion. The leopard pencil skirt adds a nice polish to the look while the white mules and black t-shirt keep things effortless.

3. The Feathered Jeans and Gray Sweater

Everyone thank Olivia Palermo for introducing us to a denim style that we have not seen before. If someone said to you that they were wearing feathered jeans, you would probably be horrified. In true Olivia Palermo form, she shows how elegant they can be.

4. The Printed Top and Skirt

Fashion Month is about wearing your boldest looks and this one definitely fits the bill. Each piece makes a statement on its own, but they still all work together. The gold boots bring out the shades in the printed blouse while the green plays up Irene Kim‘s hair. Even the phone case coordinates with the outfit.

5. The Slip Dress and Chunky Shoes

Who else is wondering how they can DIY this slip dress right now? The chunky flatform shoes with chain details add even more edge to the wispy red slip.

6. The Track Jacket and Pleated Skirt

This is atheleisure meets preppy, and it is all sorts of good. There are a lot of trends in this look, but you would never say this is fashion victim style. It is basically the complete opposite of that.

7. The Striped Cape

Capes were a massive trend for fall and this one might single-handedly convince you to give up jackets for the season. Pairing it with the jeweled sandals and coordinating striped shirt is unexpected, but it works.

8. The Blush Dress and Coat

This is how you wear neutral tones. Normally, we either stick with beige or blush colors, but this look combines both. It’s so chic. Period.

9. The Red Dress and T-Shirt

It just wouldn’t be Fashion Week without a killer outfit from Alexa Chung. Only she would think to layer a white t-shirt under a red dress, then throw on some white ankle boots.

10. The Ruffled Dress

When you’re wearing a statement dress like this, you don’t need much else. However, she has played up the ruffle detail of her dress with her fringed boots.
