Karl Lagerfeld, Rihanna, Lily Allen, and many more made a stop at the Chanel Spring / Summer 2010 “runway” today. The show was not typical of many of the other shows we’ve seen so far this season. Lily Allen (who actually recently announced she was retiring from the music industry soon) performed for the audience who watched the classically inspired looks grace the park like setting.

Everyone needs a little black dress in their closet and we all also need Chanel in our closet. Let’s combine the two and throw in a bit of tweed. Then we’ll get this stunning flouncy LBD.

This is a serious interpretation of the Chanel suit. I love the long blazer. The color of it is also amazing. It’s not overly bright and funky for the Spring, but it is still feminine and fun. And that purse with the little rose on it. Can I borrow that?  I’m in love.

I’ve seen tweed done several ways this Fall season and now I’ve seen in done in several different ways in the Spring / Summer.  The chain belt and oversized bag are accessories that I’ve already fallen in love with. This is one trend that I have fallen in love with without any questions. No one will have to drag me to try on this look like they did with the bubble dress.
