Here’s something that you probably haven’t thought about when you’ve considered where you stand on the concealed weapon debate — concealed weapon fashion.
That’s right! As in — where do you put your gun? Sure, if you wear harem pants all day every day, you have your answer. But can you pack in skinny jeans? Or a dress? What kind of sartorial choices are necessary in order to uphold the right (if you have it) to bear secret arms?
About a week ago, the New York Times addressed this very question. According to the paper, companies are making pants and shirts with hidden pockets that can conveniently fit your freshly purchased handgun:
“What we’ve tried to do is create a collection of garments that allows the end user to have stylish lifestyle apparel but have features in the garment that enable them to carry a weapon and draw the weapon quickly,” said David Hagler, a vice president at 5.11 Tactical
