Sienna Miller has amazing style. She has that timeless-with-an-interesting-twist look now, but she was the poster girl for all things bohemian in the 2000’s. She convinced you that you needed more vests and floppy hats in your wardrobe. She even made you want to own a pair of cowboy boots. We may look at a lot of boho fashion looks and cringe now, but there are a lot of throwback Sienna Miller looks that we still want to copy. They’re effortless and just look so cool.
These 12 Sienna Miller outfits from the 2000’s make us want boho to become massive again:
You probably still frequently wear a floppy hat similar to this one, and you probably have a pair of slouchy boots too. All that is missing is the printed blouse, light-wash jeans and Jude Law. We can always hope.
Sienna has a knack for layering and pulling off things that shouldn’t work. She made this tricky-to-wear cropped sweater look good thanks to the coordinating top and furry jacket. Plus, she somehow makes the bootcut jeans half-tucked into her furry boots look cool. Remember this was back in the pre-skinny days before we tucked pants into our boots.
Sienna’s outfit at the 2004 Vanity Fair Oscar Party showed that boho could be just as good for evening as it could for day. This teal color is beautiful and worked well with her darker hair. The arm cuff is a bohemian-must, and the way the silver bag contrasts with all the gold accessories is interesting.
Remember this one for your casual weekend look. All this look involves is a printed dress, slouchy boots and a hat, but it looks a lot more pulled together than your old college hoodie and ripped jeans.
The tights with shorts look is something that hasn’t gone away, so we might as well channel this look from head-to-toe because it still looks great. You might have thought that blue boots would look awful, but they work with Sienna’s printed top.

Admit it: You kind of wish you still kept your cowboy boots when you look at this photo. Sienna’s white tank and denim mini get an upgrade thanks to the red bag and those boots. When done right, they add some interest to a basic outfit.
This is the closest thing you have to a street style star shot in 2003. Sienna’s fuzzy coat is more interesting than your basic pea coat and it works well with the printed boots. Also note the scarf belt.
We can thank Sienna Miller as one of the people who made us realize how our wardrobes were severely lacking in the vest department. They always upgraded an outfit, and were the perfect contrast to more floaty pieces, as seen here.
Remember what we said about Sienna knowing how to layer? She’s got the white slip under the green dress, the black tights under the cutout shoes, and a black cardigan under her furry coat. She may be hot, but she looks great.
Embellished jackets like this were perfect when it was too cold to wear a vest. They are also a fresh change to your leather jacket that you wear everywhere. Copy Sienna’s style and pair your unique jacket with a basic tank and flowy skirt.
Forget all of the corseted dresses with dramatic skirts and a million layers of tulle. This embellished white dress is fancy, but it looks effortless and like it would actually be able to breathe in it.
Tunics were an essential part of anyone’s wardrobe in the 2000’s. You may cringe at the idea of them now, but when you look at this belted one, you may have second thoughts. And you can never go wrong with an arm cuff and boots tucked into jeans.
