The Telegraph is reporting that Marks & Spencer have come under fire for selling a bra that lasts only eight hours.  The piece–a strap-free, stick-on number that costs £20–is advertised as an ideal counterpart to strapless and backless dresses like, well, every strapless bra ever.  So, nothing out of the ordinary there.

But it’s not that the bra sticks on and gradually loses adhesive over the course of eight hours, the problem is that it’s maybe kind of toxic thanks to silicone content and will irritate the skin.  Nothing compliments a backless or strapless LBD like an allergic reaction to your underwear.

Then again, maybe an expiring bra could be fun.  It would be just like having a goldfish that lives only eight hours and gives you a rash when it dies.  And costs $40.
