Topshop party

If your party wardrobe consists of black dresses, black dresses and more black dresses, it is time for an upgrade. A LBD may be a classic piece, but it isn’t your only option. The holidays are coming up and it can get pretty tiring wearing the same old dress and accessories at every party. Topshop is here to help you switch things up. The brand has launched its Holiday 2016 campaign and it is all about non-cliche party looks.

As the brand says on its website, “This holiday season it’s all about going out, having fun with friends and expressing your individuality through your party wear.” You don’t have to ditch your go-to dresses completely, but you should be as open to new things with your party looks as you are with the rest of your wardrobe.

Topshop’s Holiday 2016 campaign has plenty of new looks for you to try. The campaign features cool-girl models including Stella Maxwell, Kiki Willems, and Kate Moss’s sister Lottie Moss posing in different outfits that aren’t your usual party looks. The outfits are divided up into different categories like “The Urban Girl,” “The Fashion Girl” and “The London Girl.” What you end up with is mix-and-matching at its best across each category.

“The London Girl” look (above) is all about British eclecticism and pairing unexpected pieces together while still looking effortless. Take a cue from Stella and style your khaki jacket with a velvet skirt and printed T-shirt for your soiree. “The Grunge Girl” (below) is a lesson in how to dress down fancier pieces with chunky shoes, tousled hair and slouchy styles.
