When it was announced a few months ago that Willow Smith was Chanel‘s newest brand ambassador, we were very excited. Not only is Willow pretty much the coolest 15-year-old around, she also has a style all her own, and we wanted to see what she would bring to Chanel. Willow’s first advertising campaign has finally dropped, and it is stunning.
Willow is modeling eyewear for Chanel’s Fall/Winter 2016 campaign. (Yup, we are into the fall advertisements already.) The black-and-white campaign was shot by Karl Lagerfeld himself. In the campaign, Willow models a variety of chunky glasses and sunglasses while decked out in an array of different Chanel accessories. One personal favorite look includes a belt as a choker. Another brilliant one has Willow wearing a Chanel ribbon in her hair.
Willow follows a long line of cool girls who have previously snagged Chanel eyewear campaigns. Karl favorite Kristen Stewart has modeled sunnies and specs for Chanel. It was only last year that Lily-Rose Depp made a name for herself with her own eyewear campaign for the brand.
This is most likely the first of many campaigns for Willow. Based on all of the amazing styling in this campaign, we cannot wait for the next one. Fingers crossed there will also be an accessories collab in the future.
