Now at The Gloss, we’re compiling a list of our favorite internet videos each day, to distract you for a few minutes in the afternoon. Enjoy!

The Gloss Top Video Pick:

1. Episode 1 Of Little Horribles Is A Real Gem (NSFW)

The official website for Little Horribles describes their new web series as such: “Hailed as the ‘Lesbian Girls‘ (by some lesbians in Silverlake) the show rips apart and laughs in the face of those painfully uncomfortable moments that no one wants to remember, but everyone does.” Indeed, Little Horribles protagonist Amy does seem to be a classmate of Hannah Horvath’s at the school of awkward/cringe-inducing comedy. Her post-sex offering of tea (and subsequent issues with a low ceiling) had me cracking up. (via Jezebel)

2. Want To Visit NYC In 1939? Now You Can!

It’s hard to believe that this cheery New York City summer in 1939 (in high-def color!) is the same place where I currently live. I mean, there’s certainly a lot less trash on the ground. Take a little travel through time to see the NYC landmarks and the vintage fashion – lots of fun to be had here.

3. No Leading Questions About Why The Newsroom Cast Is In The Desert

Why is this trailer in a desert? Because they are serious (fictional) journalists, damnit! I don’t get it either, but at least we can probably expect them to bring more sexism to the workplace in season two… yay? (via Vulture)

4. Get Creative With Make Up (The Video!)

Our very own Joanna described this video as “whimsical” and that is the most perfect word for it. You can get your daily fix of whimsy right now by watching this makeup-inspired short.

5. Well, I Just Cried A Shadows

I got very teary at this. I’m not sure if I’m just having an emotional Monday, but this is shadow dance performance is pretty mind-blowing.
