The Gloss Top Video Pick:
1. Moziah Bridges Is Probably My New Favorite Designer
To sum it up, eleven year-old Moziah Bridges is awesome. He designs and sells his own line of bows ties called Mo’s Bows, and as Jezebel pointed out, his profits are pretty astounding. Moziah and his mom appeared on Fox News the other day to talk about how he got started making bow ties and about how he uses some of the money he makes to send other kids to summer camp. The interview is a gem, and I love that he uses the word “dapper” because that is excellent. (via Jezebel)
It’s been about two months since the teaser trailer for the biopic Diana came out, and now the first full length trailer has hit the web. We finally really get a chance to see Naomi Watts as Princess Diana, as the trailer focuses on the romance between her and Dr. Hasnat Khan (played in the film by Naveen Andrews). Check it out above. At the Osheaga Music and Arts Festival in Montreal (my cousin is there and I’m jealous, but let’s move on), Macklemore was joined by the amazing duo Tegan and Sara to duet on his song “Same Love,” which advocates for LGBT rights and promotes acceptance and respect. It’s a great song and this is a great live performance.
Today would have been Lucille Ball‘s 102nd birthday, so it was quite a treat to see Hulu highlighting this Biography Channel video from their archives about her life. It’s a quick watch that will fill you in on this iconic hilarious woman and her accomplishments. (via Hulu)
Selena Gomez’s “Come and Get It” never fails to get stuck in my head, but I don’t actually love the song. However… this vintage cover of the song is all sorts of wonderful. This will be the soundtrack to my day now.
