Crown Princess Letizia of Spain had solo engagements to start the week. Yesterday, she presided over the opening of the international seminar on protecting children in the face of new technologies. The research seminar, which was attended by more than 100 participants, was held at the San Pablo-CEU University in Madrid.

Then, today, the Spanish Crown Princess visited Zamora Castle in Zamora, Spain. She unveiled a plaque at the fortress, which was built in the Middle Ages, sometime between the 10th & 12th centuries.

Below is a video of the visit to Zamora. It shows the Princess arriving, and then waving and interacting with the crowd who had gathered to see her. There was quite a bit of hand-shaking going on, and it’s obvious that the people love her, with many calling out her name.
