The Girl Scouts of America have long been a place where young women can learn about archery, sewing, tying knots, and a million other things that have nothing to do with what they look like. However, they know that girls in America face tremendous pressure when it comes to their bodies. They’ve created a series of PSAs featuring plus size models (including Beverly Johnson‘s daughter Anansa) talking about positive body image and some of the issues they’ve faced in their own lives. Here’s a sample.


I’m just saying… I’d feel a lot better about my body if it was stuffed with Thin Mints year round instead of just for a couple of weeks. Hint hint.
