What’s more delicious than a steak and wine? A steak from a cow who drinks wine. Cattle farmers in British Columbia are giving cows wine along with their regular food and claiming that it makes the steak produced from these cows tastier. The beef apparently “has an enhanced flavour, the marbling is finer and the fat tastes like candy.” But that’s not enough incentive for local authorities, who investigated the farmers to make sure the cows were still getting proper nutrition. Luckily, the farmers got an all-clear. So who’s up for some wine-infused steak next weekend?
