Liberty Ross attends Golden Globes after parties

Remember when Kristen Stewart cheated on Robert Pattinson? And then, amid the media frenzy, they maybe reconciled and it was great press for the last Twilight movie? And it started to seem a lot like a publicity stunt?

Good, we’re halfway up to speed.

Stewart’s paramour, as you may know, was her Snow White & the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders. Sanders is married to successful ’00s model Liberty Ross, who just so happened to play Stewart’s mother in the movie (it’s like an onion!). Anyway, family members of respective parties started coming forward and the whole thing seemed even more like a stunt.

In the aftermath of the affair, Sanders sounded intent on saving his marriage. Ross, however, stepped out without her wedding ring and maybe wore a “revenge outfit” (it had some angles).

Now, it seems, Ross is just plain moving on. The Post claims she’s “spending time” with music mogul Jimmy Iovine, head of Interscope-Geffen (to those of you born after 1990, that’s a record label) (to those of you born after 1995, a record is a thing music used to come on). Anyway! Details:

Liberty Ross seems to be distancing herself from her director husband, Rupert Sanders, following his cheating scandal with Kristen Stewart — and is spending time with music mogul Jimmy Iovine.

Sources exclusively tell us the British-born model has become “close to Jimmy,” the head of Interscope-Geffen and co-owner of the phenomenally successful Beats by Dr. Dre franchise.

One source tells Page Six, “They were recently introduced by a mutual friend in Los Angeles. It’s early days, and there’s no indication anything has happened, but there is a lot of attraction between them.”

This is perfect timing, what with the promotional duties of everyone involved dying down. It even sounds like Stewart and Pattinson’s contract is up.

Even better for Ross, she’s enjoying more success than she ever had as a runway model (despite campaigns for Dior, Burberry, etc). Now that she has solid name recognition (and her close pal Alexander Wang just took over at Balenciaga), it might be time for stage two of a potentially major comeback.
