Six months after sporting wedding rings at the Oscars, Natalie Portman married her Black Swan co-worker Benjamin Millepied at a private home near Big Sur, Calif. Us Weekly reports, “The 8pm wedding took place beneath a chuppah” (a canopy under which Jewish couples get married, we just learned) “and in the dark!”

The Oscar winner met the French-born dancer-choreographer while filming Black Swan, on which he served as choreographer and had a small role. They are parents to a 13-month-old son, Aleph.

Since Natalie Portman is one of the few famous people in Hollywood who actually seems to want a private life (in an actual way; not a Lindsay Lohan “I just really like the salad at The Ivy” kind of way), we probably won’t see much of the dress or ceremony. Just as well; Us Weekly has a few more details: jeweler Jamie Wolf “designed the rings worn by Benjamin Millepied and Natalie Portman . . . They were made with recycled platinum and conflict free diamonds.”
